Untitled Revisionist Western Project Character Sheets

Kiona Kork:

- chp1 - She has long black hair, which she chops off with a knife to make a short, jaggedy hairstyle.  She is on the butte from which she can see both Blackridge and Eden's Drift.  It is a "place of transition" to "her people" as her mother told her.  She has done something to get kicked out of her mother's house, and out of town.  She has a knife with her and a pack.  She carved the knife grip herself, it has a rusty red stain at the base of the grip.  She has a plan to get back in the good graces of her family and town by somehow sabotaging Blackridge and convincing the railroad that is coming to connect to either Blackridge or Eden's Drift.

- chp2 - She leaves the butte and goes to the railroadmen’s camp between Blackridge and Eden’s Drift.  She overhears that the railroad will go to the town that is most likely to be able to support the increased business that the trains will bring.  Having a bank seems to be the most important feature, Blackridge has one, Eden’s Drift does not.  She decides to somehow bring down the Blackridge bank to sabotage the attractiveness of that town to the railroad.  She enters Blackridge.

- chp3 - Blackridge seems empty, but she follows the sound of a crowd to the centre of the town, where there is a dais with a hole in it.  She finds her old friend Elm, and together they watch as a young man leaps into the hole, a golden codpieced mayor standing on the dais, and a banjoman.  The crowd cheers when the man goes in the hole, and something under the ground rumbles and roars.

Kiona's Mom:

- chp1 - She tells Kiona she has to go.  She stands smoking at the sink while Kiona packs up and leaves.  When Kiona tries to say she's sorry, the mom doesn't say anything or look at her, just smokes and wipes away tears.

Kiona's Dad:

- chp1 - He is a stagecoach man in Eden's Drift.  He has a ginger moustache.

Elm:

 - chp3 - She is in the crowd on "Willings Day" in Blackridge the day that Kiona arrives.  She had been kicked out of Eden's Drift and Kiona (and everyone) had been told she was dead.  She seems to have a connection to Sarbonio, the young man who jumps in the hole during the Willings Day rite.

Sarbonio Yosant:

 - chp3 - A young man who jumps into the hole in the centre of Blackridge during Willings Day.  Seems to have a connection with Elm.
